Settings: Options Tab

Click on the image tabs below to read information about the other Tabs.

All the following options are written in the HTMLPrint initialization file.
Some of the settings can have only two possible values: 0 (OFF, the checkbox is unchecked) or 1 (ON, the checkbox is checked).

The options can be set either through the above settings window, or by writing directly in the initialization file the corresponding values.

SelectedPrinter

Write here the full Printer name, or Default to use the default Windows printer

PaperSize

To set the paper size, put the whole paper name, as it appears in the Printing Setup window.

PaperTray

Write here the full paper tray name, or Default to use the default paper tray

PrintFileName

If this option is checked, before printing, HTMLPrint will replace the document title with its file name (without the leading path).
This option is useful when printing to virtual printers (like Adobe PDF), to generate files with the same file name than the document, instead taking the file name from its title.

NumCopies

Sets how many copies are printed.

Collate

The Collate checkbox only is active when the selected printer supports collating. Collate has two possible values: 0 (OFF) or 1 (ON).

Duplex

2-Sided Printing (Duplex) is only active when the selected printer supports this feature.

Its possible values are "No", "Yes, Flip Over" and "yes, Flip Up".

Orientation

Orientation can be Portrait or Landscape.

File List printing options (all have two possible values: 0 (OFF) or 1 (ON))

ConfigureEachJob

If Initialize Printer for each Job when printing Lists is checked, the Printer will be initialized before each file is printed, and its initial configuration restored after the file is sent to the Windows printing queue. Learn More.

VisiblePList

While printing File lists, HTMLPrint can be visible or invisible. In both cases, after the File List files are printed completely, HTMLPrint will close down automatically.

If HTMLPrint is visible, printing can be cancelled at any moment, and if any error message is displayed (when a file is not found), you can choose if you want to continue printing the remaining files or cancel it.

When HTMLPrint is invisible, if any error messages pops up, HTMLPrint will be closed automatically after showing the error message.

ShowFileListErrors

Errors will be always shown when the file that HTMLPrint tries to print is online, but when local files are missing, errors only will be shown when this option is checked.
