Creating an index
An index consists of a list of keywords. You build an index by adding keywords and linking them to the topics in your project.
HyperMaker ebooks show the index on the Navigation Pane on the Left, where the Index, Search, TOC and Favorites tabs are located.
Searching keywords in the Index is faster than performing a full text search using the Search Tab.
HyperMaker enables you to visually design the index. To do so open your publication and click the
Index tab on the left bottom area.
If you add new pages, delete or rename pages, or edit the pages, the some keyword index will entries may become invalid.
