Writing information inside the Dongle
When people purchase a Rockey4ND dongle they will get four 16-bit passwords. The first two are Basic passwords; the last two are Advanced passwords.
Developers must input the 4 passwords correctly to have full access to the dongles in order to personalize them when writing the User Number, setting the active modules and setting the text in Data Zones 6 to 10.
The Basic passwords allows the ebooks compiled by HyperMaker to read the dongles but only to save information in the Data Zones 1 to 5.

Data Zones 1 to 5 can be saved with just the Basic Passwords (the Advanced Passwords should be set to 0 in case they are not used). To save Data Zones 6 to 10, the User ID #, or activate/deactivate Modules, the Advanced Passwords are required. Select Show Passwords to see the passwords that you are writing. Only the information that you want to save will be written to the dongle. To write the User ID #, select the proper checkbox and write the number to be used. To save one Data Zone, select which one is going to be saved and write the text that goes there. If Write module/s is selected, all modules with a selected checkbox will be activated, but the unselected ones will be deactivated. Click the button to save the data in the dongle. If you click the button, none will be saved. |
