Don't forgot your binoculars! "The
Blanchet farm was settled around the turn of the century by
Mr. Blanchet, a wealthy Vermont businessman who had come to
the area after a financial setback. The farmhouse stood on the
site of what is now the parking lot, with the farm extending
uphill. A large and productive orchard was established with
apples, plum and pear trees, some of which are still producing
fruits".
