"Welcome to the
Luskville Falls Trail "
The sign at the bottom of this trail tells you
that: "The wall of rock rising up before you is the
Eardley Escarpment. It has many surprises in store for you,
like a rumpling stream cascading down the slope, forest which
change with the altitude and a clear view of the Ottawa Valley.
To help you discover this area of the Park, we have created
the Luskville Falls to take you the top of the Escarpment.
For your own safety and to protect this fragile ecology, please
stay on the trail at all times. Thank you, and enjoy your
hike."
Visit and explore the Luskville Falls in spring early when
the water flow is at its peak. In Summer the Falls are dry
but in all seasons the Eardley Escarpment offers a spectacular
view of the Ottawa River Valley.
Luskville Falls is about a half hour from Ottawa. Access via
highway 148 or the Chemin de la Montagne.
After hiking 300 mts you reach the waterfall, after you will
climb until 700 mts from the base of the falls. The Fire Tower
is at 2.2 km from the waterfall. See the map.
